Round1 Phase2 Days 7 & 8

Down 0.2 = 12.4 total

Today has been a week and so far it has been pretty easy...at least easier than I thought it would be. I'm on day 3 of my TOM and ready for it to be over so that I can see bigger losses. Not that I'm unhappy with the small ones. Better than nothing.

So far I have had no REAL desire to cheat. I feel that if you have enough of a desire to truly lose then that should stop you. Ryan and I are going to a wedding next weekend with an open bar. He will probably have a drink. I may have a piece of cheese or something. I'm going to do my best to stick to the diet with what they have to offer. I'm not packing a dinner for a fomal wedding.

I can't wait to move down a pant size.

Here is to a chocolate free Valentine's Day! Still moving downward during my TOM. That's a win in my book. My pants feel looser. It's almost time to measure again.

I have to remember to keep up on my water intake. I will start tracking my water with stars at the bottom of each post. Each little star will mean 20 oz. of water.

Stoked to have lost over 10 pounds during week 1. I made some awesome chicken chili today. it will be a good change up for lunches this week. Ryan(my husband) is happy that everyday won't be salads. I started my period(TOM) today. I wonder how much it will stall me?

Ran around most of the day. Groceries and errands in the AM and visiting in the PM. I lost almost a pound even on my TOM.

We have decided to do 21 days this first round, then 28 on maintenance, and then load on our anniversary and his birthday.

Not too shabby!
My BF Angie started this diet on January 1. Everyday I asked her about her loss, how her body was feeling, and what she planned on eating. It helps me to know what is normal and what isn't.

I miss working out so much that this morning I took a walk. I find myself constantly searching for good recipes to try. Tonight Onion Soup and lunch tomorrow spicy salsa.

Small loss today but some people plateau or stall. I had to take Ang to the emergency room today. My food and drops got a bit out of whack but I should be fine.

Phase 2 Spicy Salsa

Spicy Salsa

4 oz. cubed cucumber
3.8 oz. finely diced tomatoes
.2 oz. chopped green onions(about 2)
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
Pepper & Cayenne to taste
1/2 diced jalapeno

Mix the cucumber, tomato, and green onion in a bowl. Squeeze lemon juic on top. Add everything else and mix. Taste and add more spices as needed.
Makes 2 servings.

Phase 2 Onion Soup

Onion Soup

1 Vadalia onion peeled and thinly sliced
2 Beef bouillion pack(no sugar added)
2 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Add it all into a soup pan, bring to a boil, turn down and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the onions are soft.

2/6/12 Round1 Phase2 Day0

Day 2 of loading was torture. I'm super excited to be eating lean protein and salad today. I slept awful...too much food yesterday. Got on the scale before bed 249.2 I went pee during the night and when I woke up I weighed 241.2! Where did the 8 pounds go? I normally weigh about 235. I wish I would have weighed myself before loading. Starting weight will be 241.2

I threw away extra fun food from the weekend and measured myself this morning...Here is to losing weight! Stoked to fit into some old clothes.

2/7/12 Round1 Phase2 Day1

Down 3.6! So awesome!

I've has coffee with tsp. of dairy. Salad with shrimp for lunch. Ready for beef tonight. I'm keeping positive and still haven't had any hunger issues.

OMNI Drops Diet Journal Loading Phase 1

2/4/12 Day 1 Loading

We woke up to a sunshiney day so instead of heading to the Cheesecake Factory in Seattle we decided to head to the ocean. I plan on writing down everything we eat during the loading phase. I bet the list will look crazy.

1 piece of wheat bread with artichoke dip
20 oz. 4 shot blended mocha
Jack in the Box Extreme Sausage sandwich
3 potato things
1 raspberry cream horn
1 strawberry danish
1 Big Mac
1 regular fry
4 chicken nuggets
1 divinity cookie
1 Vitamin water
1/2 a package of beef jerkey
3 pieces of pizza
1 glass of milk
1 package of Raisenettes
4 cheese curds
1 gallon of water

We both felt full all day. At times we felt oddly hungry but after a bite or two felt stuffed again. Tomorrow will be harder.

2/5/12 Day 2 Loading

Woke up still feeling full. By the time I cooked breakfast my stomach was grumbling a bit.

Today's list:
Fried Potatoes
1 Cheese Jalapeno roll with cream cheese
1 Chicken Gordita Supreme
20 oz. 4 shot blended mocha
1 Whopper
10 cookies
A handful of celery
1 glass of milk
12 shrimp
2 pieces of garlic bread with artichoke dip


It weird to have to eat so much when the goal is to lose weight but you have to load good to lose good.
